to the lovely bride to be...
:: 'bridal' bouquet ::
camomile tea. heart to heart. candle light.
Dearest bride to be, In ten months, you shall be a queen to a wonderful boy. Thank you for being there through everything. I miss our nus days... and this photo sure brings back a whole load of memories. thank you for being there through every tear and every giggle. for every hug and every flower. for those painful times of loss and heartache. for those beautiful moments when our hearts are in sync in appreciation of all things beautiful. Thank you for being the warrior princess that you are. for trudging on in the face of trials. for doing what you're doing. for going forth and fighting for Him and walking with Him in faith and in grace. for being my inspiration. for loving me. you know what dearie... my world is definitely a prettier place because you're in it. I thank Daddy for you!!! Here's to your birthday! to our sneaky snaily days long gone and church bells ringing days to come.. cheers!
Happy birthday my friend

:: Friends ::
What better way to celebrate the boy's birthday with his best friends than at Friends @ Serangoon Gardens. The place is beautiful. service is excellent. Jane, the person i made reservations with is so nice and helpful. topping it all off... is the fantabulous food. We had angus beef and it was delicious. the portions were just nice for two to share.... feels like i'm writing a food review. but i don't mind. coz it's really a wonderful place to hang out and chill...with great company of course:)
me, Jordan, Fiona, Huiguang, Justin, Alvin and Yanyi. we're missing Chunzhen and haojie
Huiguang's cake was yummy.
Laughter all around.
we were there for 4 hours...
Fiona took some really artistic shots. the one above is so cool.
I can see the boy through the glass.

A most Pleasant evening (a wild night) courtesy of Jordan
It was Joey's birthday yesterday. Below is the list of events that took place chronicled as well as I can remember after a state of being intoxicated by love.
First, I met Joey at Cards and Such where we bummed around for a while before she started getting inquisitive and bombarded me with her guesses on the place of dinner. I tricked her for a moment into thinking it was My Humble House. She believed.
As we made our way to the dining place, I surprised her by making a detour to Swiss-o-tel where we dined at New Asia Bar.It couldn't exactly be called dinner because we were so early at 5:30pm. We were rushing to catch the Tang Quartet's only performance for this year (their Christmas concert.)
Dinner was a 6 stick bbq of various meats. Chicken, Beef, Shrimp, Salmon and Squid. Chicken was repeated twice because I did not like lamb.We had chips too.
For the inquisitive, pondering how the photos are taken, they are taken with my outstretched left hand haha.A sweet caucasian lady walked over to us and took the camera from me to take a picture for us. When I related that to my friends, they joked that she was going to steal my camera. I reaffirmed them that it was not so for she had an even more expensive camera. She stole that too, was their witty reply. Laughter all round the table. I love my friends =)
We walked on to Esplanade Concert Hall for the Tang Quartet performance.I must admit, we did not really appreciate the pieces since the Tang Quartet is strictly classical. The tickets were a gift from Joey's friend. We spotted Tommy Koh in the audience. His hair was unwavering as usual and bore a semblance to Junichiro Koizumi.Anyways, we sneaked a shot in the concert hall!
At the intermission, I wanted to pick out a sandwich, but it looked more pathetic than those sold in NUS and cost 5 bucks a piece........ mmmm there are times to be exhorbitant and there are times not to be. This was such a time.
After the concert, we went to California Bistro.Had 2 ice lemon teas and a banana split.
Then we strolled along the river, towards the park and then towards fullerton. The Boltero sculptures dotted the landscape. Highly amusing and rather vulgar haha. The anti-oscar statuettes. Brilliant!Over at Fullerton, a couple of shots were spoilt by the harsh flash or the lack of lighting. Yes, Huiguang I know you will comment on the bad exposure haha =)
I'm ending this entry with this cheesy yet farny Arthouse shot. Yes, we were under the direction of Wong Kar Wai.
