T'was just a garden in the rain. Close to a little leafy lane. A touch of color 'neath skies of gray. The raindrops kissed the flowerbeds. The blossoms raised their thirsty heads. A perfumed thank you. They seemed to say. Surely here was charm beyond compare to view. Maybe it was just that I was there with you. T'was just a garden in the rain. But then the sun came out again. And sent us happily on our way.

Just watched The Contender Asia. It left me in tears. In the space of 30 mins. I feel like I know everyone of the remaining 8 contenders. Unlike any other reality tv show where contestants compete for fame, money or pride. You can tell everyone of these guys is passionate about muy thai. There's still 150,000 dollars prize money. But, what's so different is when you hear the individual journey and life story of each guy, you know they truly deserve the money. It isn't a glamorous sport. Blood, sweat and tears literally. i can't help but feel for them. I'm rooting for every single one of them but i have a soft sport for the thai guys. Sadly, i had to tear myself away from the last mins of this episode because the thai guys are up against each other. They're friends and when i saw the agony on their faces upon knowing they had to fight each other, i'm telling you it's way too emotional. I don't want either of them to lose. so i'm not watching. i know i'd bawl my eyes out. I can't believe i'm rambling on and on about this but i really admire the authenticity of the contenders and am super amazed at the emotions it riled up in me.
