T'was just a garden in the rain. Close to a little leafy lane. A touch of color 'neath skies of gray. The raindrops kissed the flowerbeds. The blossoms raised their thirsty heads. A perfumed thank you. They seemed to say. Surely here was charm beyond compare to view. Maybe it was just that I was there with you. T'was just a garden in the rain. But then the sun came out again. And sent us happily on our way.

Tapestry

My life has been a tapestry
Of rich and royal hue;
An everlasting vision
Of the ever-changing view;
A wond'rous woven magic
In bits of blue and gold;
A tapestry to feel and see;
Impossible to hold.
~ Tapestry by Carol King

a glorious yesterday!

Met Liting at clementi Mac for Dcom meeting... finalizing our vision and objectives for the coming sem. so moved by her experiences at colorado at the crusade convention.. the pics were so pretty! She brought back a lovely notepad and Snyder's mini pretzels for me! so nice! =) It started pouring and so we went to get an umbrella, a cool blue one... and can you believe it?! the rain stopped when we reached the interchange... argh....
Liting left and clydia came. Headed to Holland V to meet Justin and Lien... our ST fellowship over lunch! our second trip there since mexican food at cha cha cha on monday.

dashed into NYDC upon knowing the existence of Justin's one-for-one coupons... we placed our orders for set lunches... and the waiter actually went,"we ran out of soup, do you mind having salads instead...." to which Justin exclaimed, "How can nydc not have soup?"

we settled for 2 salads confident that the soup will arrive later... an hour into our lunch, we came up with the brilliant idea of substituting our 2 soups for a desert, if they allow that is. with a paiseh look, the waiter promised to check if that's possible. AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW, he came back with our soups, "it just arrived!"

Justin's theory: i think they didn't want us to have the desert, so they whipped up the soups. i don't think so.

had such a wonderful time, sharing the vision of our respective coms, chatting and being silly... =) hehe, we're meeting later for settlers cafe!

Rushed to Boys' Town with bags of macdonalds treats for some of the boys. They were so quick! swarmed the office once i reached. i was greeted by the amusing sight of Adrian playing erhu. Mdm Padminee wanted him to rehearse for the family day.... however we all agreed that it got a bit too noisy so we made him stop. but the look of him so engrossed and having so much fun just warms my heart. =)

CZ and rief finished the Mac real fast. Rief really looks like Mr Incredible. took the opportunity to find out how CZ is coping. pray for healing from grief Lord. pray he will get through this..

Proceed to give the boys enrichment lessons. Once again, i loved every min of it. .. 3 weeks of teaching so far... truely a fruitful experience, teaching them is such pure joy. coz there's no pressure on me and them to perform really well or pass with flying colours. the most important thing is they learn something new, even if they leave the class having learnt just one new thing, that's all i ask for and that's all that matters. i love buying treats/snacks for them. they get so excited and it makes me so excited too! they really ignited my passion for teaching. they made the classes so so engaging, so real and so so fun! =)

adore them more each day! really grateful and Thank God for their presence in my life. for a 3 months in BT that have changed my life and stretched my faith in every possible way. Thank you. =)

It was pitch black outside when the lessons ended. 2 boys accompanied me out... so nice of them. thank you!

Mili is very sick. Pray Lord that she will recover soon. So sweet her, dropped by the office and handed me 2 lovely adorable notepads from Kino! Huggies!

Indeed, my life has been a tapestry of rich and royal hue. So rich and so so blessed!
