T'was just a garden in the rain. Close to a little leafy lane. A touch of color 'neath skies of gray. The raindrops kissed the flowerbeds. The blossoms raised their thirsty heads. A perfumed thank you. They seemed to say. Surely here was charm beyond compare to view. Maybe it was just that I was there with you. T'was just a garden in the rain. But then the sun came out again. And sent us happily on our way.

Band of Brothers

village woman...innkeeper...shepherd...

that's me for the past two weeks...playing the roles of biblical characters for the Christmas@Orchard display.
on the last day(23rd) of my role playing: I played the SHERPHERD!
A`shepherd is amazing but a shepherd with the staff is INCREDIBLE!
There were more who wanted their pictures taken with a shepherd more than the village woman and innkeeper so it was a really busy night. BUT... NOTHING prepared me for the what was to happen after the Pastor handed me his shepherd staff. Everyone was scrambling to take pics. one after another. my eyes were seeing stars*

The favorites were the 3 Wise Men. They looked great! and then there were the towering roman soldiers too. all played by brothers from helping hands and Christian Agape.

these brothers are a delightful lot...sharing experiences and looking out for the rest of us in so many ways.
It is their faith in GOD that moved me so much. everyone of them has a story to tell...their love...every beat of their heart beats for GOD & everyone reaffirmed my own faith and love for God.

A brother's journey:

He was an underground drug addict, eventually became a peddlar... driven out by his parents, almost caught by the police.. he could be given the death penalty of caught...with no where else to go, he headed to church and seeked help. The Pastor shared a similar past. with response to the fear of being unable to cure his addiction, the Pastor looked at him straight in the eyes and said: If i could do it, you could too.

That very night, the brother prayed to recieve Christ. That very night, for the first time in his life since his addiction, he had a painless and peaceful sleep.

I remembered a quote from somewhere which goes to live is to "see God in every one and everything."

i saw GOD in those brothers.
