T'was just a garden in the rain. Close to a little leafy lane. A touch of color 'neath skies of gray. The raindrops kissed the flowerbeds. The blossoms raised their thirsty heads. A perfumed thank you. They seemed to say. Surely here was charm beyond compare to view. Maybe it was just that I was there with you. T'was just a garden in the rain. But then the sun came out again. And sent us happily on our way.

along with cy, we brought the girls to an evening of chinese dance performances. the walk by the river brought forth plenty of oohs and ahhs as the girls immediately whipped out their camera phones and started snapping away.

that gave us the cue to pause and admire the river coast. The view from cavanagh bridge never fails to take my breath away. lights dotting the river bends. shimmering in the waters.
say cheese...the bunch of girls i've grown to love over the two months. getting the hang of mothering them. from running after consent forms and calling parents to make sure they are aware of the daughters attending evening concerts :)
victoria theatre. those signature red chairs. my lovely girls from my form class. 13 beautiful performances from the Guandong province dance troupe. a surprise! seeing wq dancing on stage as part of the local Honglei dance troupe.

the night sky outside victoria theatre. a long bus ride back home. to exam papers that i need to vet and correct. thankful for the US open to accompany me through the nights.
