A snippet from the latest book i read ~ A Table in the Presence(Lt. Carey. H Cash)
my favorite passage.. my favorite word.
The providence of God is in all of this....
Providence is the idea that behind all of our decision, and even in some sense behind the decisions of others, there stands a God who is lovingly directing the course of events in our lives to bring about something good in the end...the providence of God is an unassailable comfort. In essence, it means that no matter what the decisions of others may be-whether good, bad, or indifferent- for those who love God, and His son, Jesus Christ, God will work out all things together for our good.
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God,
to those who are called according to His purpose."
~Romans 8:28
